As our Bilingual Marketing Copywriter, you will focus relentlessly on creating effective communication pieces that educate aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in both English and French. Key Responsibilities & Expectations

  • You’ll develop best-in-class messaging for a variety of channels - including digital ads, email, blog, video, ebooks, sales assets, social posts and more.
  • As an integral part of the Marketing team, you’ll own the creation and execution of Ownr’s tone and voice and ensure a consistent experience across all customer touchpoints.
  • Your reach will extend beyond the marketing team, as you’ll also work with our external agencies, Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams to develop best in class copy that supports Ownr’s strategic initiatives.
  • You’ll help to optimize marketing efforts with segmentation, personalized digital tactics that nurture and engage target audiences.
  • You’ll work with our legal team and other stakeholders on reviews and approvals and ensure our messaging is compliant.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience: from homepages to blog posts to everything in between, when it comes to writing copy you understand how to use the magic of words to effectively convey key concepts and keep all communications on brand.
  • Native fluency in English and French.
  • Post-secondary education in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
  • Highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way across the organization but also comfortable in working independently and without structure to achieve results.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology tools (WordPress, Google Suite, Asana, Confluence, HubSpot).
  • Experience working in SaaS/tech environments is a plus.
