Tell us about your social media consulting business, Jasmine Williams Media.
Jasmine Williams Media is a content and social media consultancy based in Toronto, Ontario. I help small businesses and entrepreneurs amplify their brands through content and social media marketing.
What made you decide to start a social media business?
I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur. Both my parents (and even my grandparents) owned their own businesses so you could say it runs in the family. However, I decided to make the leap after about a year of working full-time and doing some social media marketing and freelance writing work on the side. Once I built up a small but solid client base, I knew it was time to turn my side hustle into a full-fledged business.
